Now let me pose this scenario: Say we were to take a piece of your brain out, temporarily, no damage, we just take it out, and put it back in and repair all the severed connections in such a way that it’s as if nothing happened (and kept the flesh alive, etc. don’t make me lay it all out, just assume we could do this…FUCK! Haha)
Now say we were to take a part out, and replace it with another exact duplicate of that part, from the same type of tissue, so that it is identical in every way to what was taken out. Sort of like transferring all of the data on your hard drive to another one (to an exact duplicate, even wear and tear replicated) and then putting the new one in so that nothing is changed.
What if we were to slowly replace your brain with equal parts, from the same type of tissue, with all of the memories and imprints so that it is an exact duplicate… until your brain was made completely of the new material? Would this “new” brain be you? Who would experience the experiences produced in this new brain?
Say if instead of slowly replacing, we just did it quickly; but instead of replacing, we just made an entirely new one alongside your current brain, then would you think from both of these?
And say we took these two brains, the new and the old (though there is no age difference because the wear and tear was replicated as well) and we separated them into entirely different lives (well these two bodies of matter can’t be in the same place at the same time anyway, so… they’d be inherently living separate lives anyway), unless we could put both in equal virtual realities, but then they still wouldn’t be in the same location in “real reality”. But just say they experienced different lives, and became different beings.
Now say you were to take a brain, and break it up into smaller, yet still functioning thinking parts and let them experience their own lives.
Say you took an unthinking (or thinking whatever) universe, and used this fabric to make many little brains, who would experience these experiences? What about the same for the multiverse?
What makes you…you? Your brain? I mean, where do you think from?
Now of course since the matter doesn't matter (hehe), your brain is just a medium for information, couldn't we just transfer this information, this you, and put you on a digital supercomputer somewhere and attach it to a body and let you roam around and have a lifespan of a 1000 years or maybe even forever?
Unless of course you have some sort of "spirit" you all seem to scoff at 'cause teacher told you so. But if everything obeys physics, then everything must obey laws, and thus be mechanical. So this extra energy of a spirit coming out of nowhere wouldn't make sense...ha but then a universe coming out of nowhere does? But there's always this particle/ anti-particle theory of things forming from nothing in a 0= +1 -1 fashion.
1000 x 0 = 0 ........... infinite x 0 = 0 so there are an infinite 0’s out of this nothing to split in the fashion above, an infinite +1 and -1 to make into a universe(s) I presume. But what doesn’t make sense is the sealed universe, conservation of energy basically, why does a universe have a set amount of energy? They say it’s expanding, and I guess I believe this as much as I believe that there is a reality, but they also say that it’s like a finite amount of energy or matter being stretched out.
0 = +infinite –infinite (can you do that though? What if one infinite is increasing faster or had more time to increase or whatever, trippy shit. A mathematician got put away to a psych ward for that one, I forgot what his name was…very funny though.)
So the universe didn’t come out of nowhere, it’s just nothing rearranged. It is balanced by an anti-universe so that it is all still nothing. But this 0= +1 -1, seems to inherently be bound to laws because it’s not a 0= +100 -2 kind of madness, that doesn’t seem to work. Of course, I believe there could be a madness universe, equally balanced out by a madness anti- universe. But what is madness? It would seem like madness, but it’s still following its own “mad” laws. Spontaneity? Things just teleporting and exploding for no reason, but what defines an explosion? Energy being released, but then why does an explosion need energy to be an explosion, isn’t this also a “law”. It just goes on from there.
There is also this multiverse theory which seems to make a lot of sense, the big bang an infinite amount of times. Many universes with their own cosmological constants, etc. slightly different.
I always wondered why our universe had an age, a starting point, then I came across the idea that it’s like those movies played on cable TV. One movie, played over and over again at different start times, so that if you miss this one, just catch it at that time. Like our universe is created, then created immediately after this, again and again. So we have an infinite amount of copies of our universe, being played out. “Nothing lasts…but nothing is lost.” Think of taking your favorite movie, getting an infinite amount of Tv’s and videotape players and starting the movie on each player just a tad later than the next. So even though on this TV the character you were following already died, you can go to another TV that started playing later, where he’s still alive. So no information is ever lost. And this is done for all of the variants of universes out there, which are infinite. You can’t remember what you had for dinner ten years ago (assuming you were alive) well then just go to a universe that started later, and check for yourself, then kill that you so you can eat it again AHHA.
But the next question is, do these universes have contact with each other? Then wouldn’t that affect the copy? Since things only exist because of their opposite, which means for a universe to exist its anti universe has to exist; but it is irrelevant if anything else exists at all besides these two things (though I don’t see why they can’t exist) and since it’s irrelevant whether those universes over there exist for these two equally opposing universes to exist, it seems that they’d be excluded from contact with these foreign universes, but who knows. But it only seems logical that something from one universe would be able to travel to its anti-universe, though some how protected from coming in contact with its particular anti-matter which would cause it to be nothing again, to cease to exist.
It seems that at the base of everything, there had to have been a lifeless nothing that created it all, a sort of evolution.
If there’s a god, who created him? I think there is a god, though that created itself. This god would be a sort of mega being comprised of all of the universes, infinite, and we are all a small part of that god. Think the all seeing eye on the pyramid of the dollar bill. I don’t like to use that example because it represents oppression (well that’s how I feel at the moment), but it’s a good example. Though this God would also be mechanical like us, Ha but he can create his own energy out of nothing by creating it’s anti energy, so both anti multiverse and multiverse seem to be symbiotic, one’s gain in energy is another’s, but then why can’t energy be free? Reminds me of a quote “If love is free, why am I still in these chains?” Because free energy not controlled would mean things exploding spontaneously and all sorts of weird shit, beings like us wouldn’t survive in universes like that, unless we found a way to control it. But we wouldn’t reach sentience in a universe like that, but could such free energy be unlocked in our universe? I think so. So there is an infinite God, made of up all of the universes….like atoms making up us.
Actually, there would be two Gods; one of the positive infinite, and one of the negative infinite. I like to think of them as lovers, two beings, sharing One Love. Though it’s very ironic that if they were to come in contact, that it would mean their destruction. Very beautiful, like Romeo and Juliet. Though they will always regenerate to love once more.
Though I admit I am just a brain, or being, limited to my senses and things could be completely different. Besides those magicians are always coming out with new physics, like a cheap publisher releasing more editions, to keep selling to the masses. Quantum what? The new age buzz word. This could revive the spirit though, who knows :)
The same way you were born, you will be reborn again. Though is it better to not be? Nah, better to have loved and lost I say. Actually you can’t even ask the question, to be or not to be, because we are always both; there is all of it: infinity, in this nothing.
Though if you are to differentiate from the nothing you have to take the highs and lows, the same way you must accept +1 as well as -1 if you are to stray from the 0.
A broken nail to a girl that never has gone to the ghettos is basically the worst hell she’s ever experienced, so there will always be polarities of good and bad experiences, love and evil, no matter how negligible the range of your experiences.
I feel like I’m forgetting something, well yes this doesn’t cover all of it, nor do I have the capabilities to, but basically what I want to say is I’m not typing this shit up for you poseur hipsters to think I’m “deep” or whatever, a Sci-fi geek will smash my ass apart at this stuff. I don’t do this to change your view of me either; I don’t give a shit about that crap. Though what I do care about is getting answers, and since you all are supposedly smart, HA!, I’d like to hear your opinions on this, whether you bash or add to it. I see those gang signs you throw up, maybe you’re bullshitting, or maybe you know something…mind sharing? Maybe no one is reading this? Well then, it’ll float around in hyperspace for eternity until some unfortunate wanderer trips and falls over it, and decides to scribble a response. Maybe that wanderer can come back on a time travel machine and get me laid, how about that? Or go to another rerun, and pluck me out while I’m still alive, though is the stuff on the other TV me anyway? Is your duplicate brain you? Are we all one being?
I still feel like I’m forgetting something…shit, oh well.
Also I’m too lazy to go back and edit this, so go fuck yourself =P… no I wasn’t talking to YOU ;)
You’re so beautiful every time I see you I lose my breath, forget my name, and can’t speak.
I remember now! ok objects set in motion stay in motion right? Well then that would mean its course, its path, its life, is determined by the initial conditions. Which means everything in a universe would follow this as well, just unfold to a sort of script in a way...destiny. Though I don't know if this is true, there's quantum this and that, and chance. But interesting to think about.
Their love means their destruction, means their rebirth. Each time they meet is like a slide in a reel to a movie that is played out forever, their love never ceases. Though, think of what that means for those suffering...
